| Teach-At-Home® Priority Placement Program |
| If you want to increase visitation to your website by dedicated homeschoolers, please consider our Priority Placement Program. |
| Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) |
| 1. Okay. What is Teach-At-Home's Priority Placement Program? |
| Teach-At-Home's Priority Placement Program is a quick, simple, and inexpensive way to purchase advertising using our categorized Resource Links list. When a category is selected, all businesses within that category are listed vertically in alphabetical order. Our site statistics show that the first few listings get the bulk of the click-through responses. Our Priority Placement Program allows your business the opportunity to purchase a top-place listing - a placement that greatly increases the chances of someone choosing your link and visiting your web site. Teach-At-Home's Priority Placement Program lets you reach only those people who have expressed an active interest and desire for information related directly to your products or services. |
| 2. What are the costs for a Priority Placement? |
| For the low annual fee of $105.00, your business will come to the top of the list within your category. If multiple businesses in a category enroll in the Priority Placement Program, they are listed at the top of the directory, in the date order they enrolled in the program.
We offer several cost savings packages. For example, purchase a one-year Type I, II or III ad and the Priority Placement ad is only an additional $50.00 - a savings of over $50.00. Or purchase the first Priority Placement ad for $105.00 and each additional Priority Placement ad is only $50.00. Remember, Teach-At-Home is a centralized, professionally maintained, frequently updated source for the varied types of information that homeschooling families need. What better place to advertise your business! |
| 3. Why an annual fee instead of a price per x-number of listings? |
| First, an annual fee system is easier to manage. We do not need to track and bill you for each x-number of ad listings or against some pre-defined credit limit. As a result, you don't have to worry about unexpected bills or reestablishing credit limits. By keeping it simple, we reduce costs and pass on the savings to you.
Second, there are no surprises. You've probably heard horror stories about advertisers getting bills for thousands of dollars because they chose the wrong "keyword" for their listing or were listed on sites that were inappropriate for the homeschool audience. With Teach-At-Home's Priority Placement Program you are listed on a site that only serves the homeschool community and in a category that best represents your business. |
| 4. How many Priority Placement listings per category? |
| We limit the number of Priority Placement listings to six (6) per category. With more than six the value of the priority placement is diminished. |
| 5. What if I want to change categories? |
| Changing categories is never a problem in our free listing service. However, a Priority Placement Program link can only be moved to another category with an available opening (limit of 6 Priority Placement links per category). If a Priority Placement is available in the desired category it will be moved upon request. Simply E-Mail us any time with a request for a free category change. |
| 6. Can I have a Priority Placement in more than one category? |
| You can have a Priority Placement in any number of categories provided there is an available opening (limit of 6 Priority Placements per category). Each additional listing is discounted to an annual fee of $50.00. |
| 7. Will free listing still be available? |
| Yes. Your existing link will still be listed alphabetically for free even if you do not choose to take advantage of our Priority Placement Program |
| 8. What are the guidelines for my listing? |
| Teach-At-Home reviews each and every submission and solely reserves the final decision whether to list the link in our index or not. We do not accept any links that are of an offensive nature, sites critical of any race, religion or national origin or those advocating violence. We do not list links that in our judgment are inappropriate for children, regardless of the intent of the author, or content of the web site.
Text: In general, a maximum of 40 characters (including spaces) for the title and a maximum of 225 characters (including spaces) for no more than 3 text lines of description. The total number of accepted display characters depends on the number of wide characters, such as "W" or narrow characters, such as "." that are used. Each title and description will be reviewed and edited if necessary, and, as mentioned above, only appropriate listings and wording are accepted. In addition to its top placement, a larger and colorful title and a highlighted background distinguish the Priority Placement listings. Click for Example Links: When your Priority Placement link is clicked, it will open in the current browser window. Users must be allowed to return from your site to the Teach-At-Home listing page by clicking the browser's BACK button. Free listings will continue to open in a new browser window. Images: Teach-At-Home does not allow for advertising images (e.g., clipart, pictures, logos) in the listing. |
| 9. Okay, I'm interested. What's next? |
| If you are interested in a one year contract E-Mail us a request. "Priority Place Program" should be in the subject line and include your URL, proposed title and description. If you already have a free listing and are happy with that title and description, just let us know. We will review your request within one week of receipt and e-mail you back with our recommendations. You can pay for your ads with Check/Money Order or we can email you a link to PayPal® to pay by Credit Card. |
